Cutting-edge Safety Material NEW BOOK!
All students will receive textbook, pocket mask and 2-year national certification. Our two-year National Safety Council (Green Cross) certification will read Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care & Professional Rescuer; it does not override any state or government agency that requires yearly CPR training.
This professional course meets all 2015 CPR/AED, ECC and American Heart Association Guidelines. Course requires hands-on skills and a written test. First Aid training is not included but it can be added. All students must compress and ventilate manikin on the floor.

- Professional rescuer role in a medical emergency and taking action
- Assessing the victim
- Recovery position
- Basic life support
- Including rescue breathing
- Airway obstruction
- Heart attacks and chest pain
- Two-handed jaw thrust
- Pulse checks
- Personal protection equipment
- Use of pocket mask and BVM required
- One- and two-person CPR on adult, child and infant are practiced
Advanced resuscitation techniques are not required for certification but can be added on with prior notice; these include oral and nasal airways, suctioning and oxygen.
Please note: these advanced resuscitation techniques are not Advanced Life Support (ALS) and have no separate certification. If you need Oxygen training as part of your BLS class, we can add just the oxygen.
